Semi-Automated (AutoSAT) – is a semi-automated solution utilising a racking system that is very similar to Drive In. Pallets are moved in and out of the rack using a pallet shuttle / satellite. The shuttle runs up and down each channel on dedicated rails and will place the pallet in the next available position when putting away or bring the pallet to the front when dispatching. These functions can be performed in a manual process where one pallet is handled at a time or in an automatic mode where you select and confirm the number of pallets to be handled.
The shuttles are moved via a forklift / reach truck and placed in the chosen channel. Each shuttle is controlled via handheld remote that the operator controls from within the forklift. Remotes can be sync’d with your Warehouse Management System (WMS) or operate independently. The shuttles are powered with Lithium batteries offering a full shift worth of power and are easily swapped over or charged via a 240v power source. AutoSAT can be used in both FIFI and LIFO configurations.
