Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) – a perfect match for operations with a high throughput of pallets, an AS/RS system is fully automated from end to end. Whether pallets come into the system via production lines or containers, pallets are moved initially via a powered conveyor and go through a scanner to ensure they are square with no loose pallet wrap or objects.
SRM (Stacker Crane) – Storage Retrieval Machine operates on a fixed rail with high density racking on either side. The storage can vary in depth depending on the product profile, so this is a great solution for maximising the storage capabilities of the facility. Being fully automated, each crane is independently controlled and operated and is powered by a busbar which is positioned at ground level.
The SRM can operate in temperatures ranging from -30 degrees through to +55 degrees and can handle multiple different product types such as pallets, containers, trays or rolls. Available as a traditional single or double deep rack or with a satellite shuttle on board for deep lane storage.
AutoSAT Mover – is a mother shuttle and can move Supercap shuttles between channels. Using pallet elevators to lift the pallets between levels, the pallet is moved onto the SuperCAP shuttle which is located on the AutoSAT Mover. The AutoSAT Mover then proceeds up and down each aisle that has high density, deep storage channels on either side. Once in front of the desired channel, the pallet is moved into position via the SuperCAP shuttle. The system is fully automated and powered by a busbar located on each level. The SuperCAP shuttle has a supercapacitor instead of a battery and receives its charge from the Mover each mission, so no need for battery removal and charging.
